Day 53: Graffiti and Fireplaces

These were once again taken in Palma on my last day before flying home. The first was taken in a gorgeous cafe called Cappuccino where I’d had to retreat into due to it hail stoning! That’s right, it was actually hail stoning in Mallorca! At Easter! It had been drab weather all day and was rather chilly, but all of a sudden the heavens opened and pelted it down! I had to wheel myself towards the cafe whilst trying to cover all my cameras whilst also getting pummelled with really quite painful hail stones! It was wonderful to make it inside and find an empty seat by the fire, so I got myself a very large coffee and stayed there until the weather improved. It was lovely πŸ™‚

The second is later on in the day once the weather improved greatly and is of my brother posing next to some of the fantastic graffiti in Palma. This was in a really artistic area and it was full of galleries, all of which I eagerly checked out, and had lots of very artistic and tastefully placed graffiti that I continued to capture until I left. I adore it when it’s done well πŸ™‚

Day 29: Razzer Painting

Β This my little brother Gareth, or Razz/Razzer as I call him. Don’t ask me why I call him those names, I can’t remember when or how they actually came about :p Anyway, he’s an incredible artist with such a weird, unusual style and is almost never not drawing or painting something. This is normally how I find him when I come home from university, sat at the table surrounded by his art stuff and just wacking out something so bonkers and awesome easy as you like. It amazes me. So I thought it’d be nice to capture him in his art mode and show a sneak peak of a section of his latest piece πŸ™‚

Day 28: A Very Interesting Car Journey

Finally, I have caught up!! These are from the very funny car journey I had with my mum and brother on the way home from uni. In the first images you can just about make out the fact that, as he was too hot, my brother decided it would be a great idea to take his top of and stick his head out of the window as we were driving fast down the motorway. Needless to say he got a few very funny looks and he cooled down quickly :p Me and Mum were in hysterics as he looked like a dog with it’s head out the window!

The next image is Mum singing an dancing to Young Hearts Run Free by Candi Staton. Well, I say singing and dancing. More like screeching and waving her arms. It was hilarious to watch though, I wish I’d recorded it xD
